All Saints

On November 1 All Saints Day, my husband's grandma is planning to go to the cemetery and visit her husband. I remember the last time the I spent All Saints Day at the cemetery was 4 yrs ago, I was with my cousins. People from around the city flocked to Davao Memorial Cemetery. Many visited their loved ones at the cemetery that day.

When going to the cemetery, you'll encounter heavy traffic on every street that leads to it. You can see different kinds of people walking along the street carrying chairs, food containers, sound system, etc. Most of them will stay overnight at the cemetery with their family and friends. Sometimes this season gives less fortunate people to earn some bucks by selling different kinds of stuff that is useful while at the cemetery, like candles, paper fans, caps, foods and more. This coming All Saints Day, the most important thing to remember is we are visiting at the cemetery to pay tribute to them that passed away ahead of us.
